Mikael Kivelä, University of Helsinki, Finland
I work as a planning officer in the Institute of Behavioural Sciences, University of Helsinki, Finland. My doctoral studies focus on the ways material facilities configure their users. I've conducted my field work in Minerva Plaza, an 'engaging learning environment' bristling with information and communication technology. And by technology I mean both the various technical devices and the skills, energy and other resources to use them to foster learning through communication.
In the Local Organising Committee my specialities are issuing access and enabling. Whether you have problems accessing the Guest WiFi, are looking for a stair-free entrance or your laptop power supply just failed, please let me (or any of the local organisers) know. You may contact me via email [email protected].
